Fiat onramp
Subtopia uses Pera Onramp, a fiat payment aggregator, to allow users to top up their Algorand accounts via direct fiat purchases (Credit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.).
To use the fiat onramp feature, follow these steps:
Login to Subtopia: Log into your Subtopia account. If you don't have an account, create one by following the instructions provided in the email-login section.
Navigate to the Purchase Page: After logging in, click on 'Top-up balance' on the authentication portal popup.
Select Purchase Option: On the purchase page, select the option to buy cryptocurrencies using fiat currencies.
Enter Purchase Details: Enter the details of your purchase, such as the type of cryptocurrency you want to buy and the amount of fiat currency you want to spend.
Complete Purchase: Follow the prompts to complete your purchase. This typically involves entering your payment details and confirming your purchase.
Check Your Wallet: After your purchase is complete, the purchased cryptocurrency will be added to your wallet on the Subtopia platform. Check your wallet to confirm the transaction was successful. Note that it may take longer than usual for the gateway aggregator to process the payment. In such cases, refresh the page to reload your latest balance faster.
